What is the performance schedule?

The show runs on different days different weeks. Please check the calendar for specific performance times.

How long is the show?

An American in Paris runs approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes including one 15 minute intermission.

If I bring a group can I get a cheaper price?

Is An American in Paris appropriate for children?

An American in Paris is suitable for ages 6 and up.  Please note that children under the age of 4 are not allowed in the theater.

Is An American in Paris a new musical?

Yes. While inspired by the 1950 Academy Award winning film, An American in Paris is a world premiere.

Is there a rush policy?

A limited number of tickets are available at the box office when it opens at 10AM (Sundays at 12PM).

Tickets are $32 each, cash only, and you can buy 1 or 2. They are all balcony partial view.

The Palace Theatre is located at 1564 Broadway, New York, New York, on Broadway between 46th and 47th.

May I buy a ticket in person?

You can buy tickets online at Ticketmaster. The box office is open from 10:00am – 8:00pm, Monday – Saturday and Sunday 12:00pm – 6:00pm.

What subways are close by?

Where can I park my car?

There are many parking garages near the theater, but remember that curtain times create added traffic.

Do I have to climb stairs at the theater?

The Palace Theatre has an elevator to the balcony sections from the lobby.

Are there ticketing options available for patrons with disabilities?

Is there an Assistive Listening System at the theater?

Yes. Reservations for an Assistive Listening System are not necessary. Drivers license or ID with printed address is required as a deposit.

Does the theater have air conditioning?

Yes.

Is there a place at the theater to buy a drink or a snack?

Of course!  Snacks and drinks are available for purchase in the lobby of the theatre.

Is there a coat rack or a coat check?

Yes.

Is there a lost and found?

May I use a camera in the theater?

No, the use of cameras and recording devices is strictly prohibited.

Should I dress up to see the show?

Some people choose to wear “special occasion” clothes for a Broadway performance, but casual attire is perfectly appropriate.

Curtain rises promptly. Latecomers will be seated at the discretion of management.
